The below message was emailed to all on-campus students on 24 February 2022
With Semester 1 classes starting next week, now’s the time to make sure that you have provided us with a valid proof of vaccination status (or medical exemption). The process takes less than five minutes – see our guide to uploading your vaccination status to StudentOnLine.
By providing your proof of vaccination you are doing your part to help us safely return to campus.
What happens if I don’t provide proof of vaccination (or valid medical exemption)?
You are not permitted to attend campus or face-to-face classes until you upload valid proof of vaccine status.
If you enrol in on-campus subjects without successfully providing your vaccine status (via the COVID-19 Vaccine Status Form) you will be in breach of the Health and Safety Procedure – COVID-19 Vaccination and you may experience one or more of the following sanctions:
- You will not be able to attend campus to access facilities or participate in any on-campus events or activities.
- You may receive an administrative sanction that will result in you being restricted from enrolling in subjects in future study periods.
- Your enrolment in on-campus subjects may be withdrawn.
- You may be referred to a University disciplinary process under General Misconduct.
If you have tried uploading your certificate but have had difficulties, ask a question online and a member of our ASK La Trobe team will help you.
Thank you to students who have already provided your vaccination status. We’ll see you at our vibrant campuses for classes next week – and don’t forget about our Welcome Back Festival events on all our campuses on 2 March!
