Food and material drive at the Student Health and Wellbeing Resource Centre

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our students experienced financial difficulties, leading to the inability to access food and basic hygiene products. The Student Health and Wellbeing Resource Centre will be holding a food drive to prepare parcels that we can provide to our students in need throughout the year.

We are encouraging students and staff to donate non-perishable items such as:

  • Canned food, fruit, vegetables, tuna and soup
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Pasta, noodles and rice
  • Long-life milk
  • Tea and coffee
  • Peanut butter, jam and non-perishable spreads
  • Biscuits, muesli bars, dried fruit and packaged nuts
  • Sauces, seasoning, and stock cubes
  • Flour, oil, sugar
  • Shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser
  • Dental floss, toothpaste, toothbrushes, cotton buds
  • Tissue and toilet paper
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Pet food

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept items that have:

  • expired
  • passed their use by or best before date
  • been opened or used

You can donate items at the Student Health and Wellbeing Resource Centre – Peribolos East, Ground Floor, PE101. We are in need of items right now but will accept food donations throughout the year.
