Feel Good Fest: Feel Good About Networking

La Trobe has lots of employability resources you can access to develop your skills and confidence in networking.

We want you to see networking as an ongoing part of your professional development and professional identity. You can develop your professional learning networks so that you are connected to and are contributing to your profession.

Here are a few things you can do to develop your professional network:

1. Level up your LinkedIn profile with a professional headshot

Make your LinkedIn profile really stand out from the rest with a professional headshot. FREE professional headshot photography will be available at Feel Good Fest! Check out the dates and times below:

Bendigo Campus on Tuesday 6 September from 11:30 am and 1:30 pm in the LSU building. Register now.

Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus on Wednesday 7 September from 11:30 am – 2.00 pm in the Library.

2. Make your LinkedIn profile stand out

Come along to our LinkedIn Masterclass on Thursday 8 September from 2 pm – 3 pm to learn how you can make your LinkedIn profile stand out from the crowd!

3. Learn how to network professionally

Professional networking is key to career success.

Our Employability team will be on campus during Feel Good Fest to help you pick up some professional networking tips:

You’ll learn to network informally over a FREE coffee. It’s all about making connections!

4. Talk to a Career Ready Ambassador

Our Career Ready Ambassadors (CRAs) are available on campus and online every week during the semester (as well as during Feel Good Fest!). Our CRAs can help you develop your LinkedIn profile, get started with networking, and access the many Career Ready OnLine resources, including the LinkedIn Networking Tool.
