Registrations essentialLa Trobe University is proud to present the 25th GS Watson Public Lecture. \n\n\n\nThis year’s lecture explores the life and ideas of John Maynard Keynes\, one of the most influential economists of the 20th century. While Keynes is best known for his contributions to economics\, fewer people know that he began his academic life in mathematics\, particularly probability theory. \n\n\n\nPresented by Emeritus Professor Terrance Mills\, the lecture will examine Keynes’ intellectual journey\, his work on probability and the continuing relevance of his ideas today.
