DESCRIPTION:Pride Week at La Trobe ends with Wear it Purple Day on the 30 August. This day is celebrated annually and is a day dedicated to fostering safe\, supportive and inclusive environments for LGBTIQA+ young people. It began in 2010 as a response to global stories of bullying and harassment leading to tragic outcomes for rainbow youth.
