City / Two free workshops not to miss this week at City Campus

This Wednesday 31 July, two free workshops are coming to City Campus. All students are welcome to attend.

After the workshops, all students are welcome to meet your Student Union representatives at 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Level 3 Lounge. Come and say hello, have some free food and get to know more about your Student Union.

WORKSHOP 1: #HOW2UNI

When: 12 p.m.- 1 p.m., Wednesday 31 July

Where: Room 3.09, City Campus or join remotely via Zoom.

What this workshop covers: 

Get off to a great start at uni with tips on time management, working with your strengths for study and understanding keys to success.

Workshop #2: La Trobe Student Union Advocacy Service – Here to help

When: 1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., Wednesday 31 July

Where: Room 3.09, City Campus

What this workshop covers:

This session will introduce students to the Student Union support services they can access during their time at La Trobe. 

Student Advocacy is a professional service for students who are seeking information, advice and support to address an academic, administration or welfare-related issue.

Students may encounter a range of difficulties during their studies, these may include:

  • Academic misconduct
  • Unsatisfactory progress
  • Special consideration
  • Remission of debt
