Hoping to grab hold of that textbook from the library before your classmates beat you to it?
High-demand loans at the Heyward Library in Bendigo have been ‘interfiled’ with the rest of the library’s collection this year.
That means three-hour, three-day and 28-day loans now sit alongside each other on the same shelf, making it easier for you to find what you need.
Because there are often several copies of the same book available for different lengths of time, Library staff have colour-coded the books according to the length of them they’re available for loan.
Green stickers denote an items that can be loaned for three hours.
Orange stickers are found on items that can be borrowed for three days.
Items without a sticker can be checked out for their normal borrowing period.
