La Trobe University’s VPN service is designed to allow University staff and students the ability to securely “connect” via the Internet with University services as if we were on campus.
Our new BIG-IP VPN service was introduced in April 2020, it is more than double our previous University capacity and provides an overall improvement in reliability.
To streamline our services, the former VPN service, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, will be retired on the 14 August 2020.
What do you need to do?
If you currently use La Trobe’s AnyConnect VPN service, we recommend that you move across to the BIG-IP VPN service prior to 14 August. Please refer to the VPN information on the Student IT Support website for how to connect.
