Here’s three programs that will help you to be Career Ready!
Being career ready means developing your skills via a range of practical experiences and understanding how to manage your career going forward. You can build your career readiness via La Trobe employability programs that connect you with industry mentors and graduate recruiters and take part in real world industry experiences.
Registration now open for the Semester 1 round of the Industry Mentoring Program.
Are you looking to map your career, expand your professional network and gain a competitive edge when applying for jobs? The La Trobe Career Ready Industry Mentoring Program is currently inviting motivated students to pair with an industry mentor for the Semester 1 round, running for twelve weeks from 28 March to 24 June. More information can be found on CareerHub and our website.
Meet the Employers 2022

At these events, you can:
- Listen to employers pitch to you at live presentations and learn about all the opportunities on offer
- Chat directly with employer representatives and fellow students at the unique networking lounge feature
- Make yourself known to potential recruiters and get a head start in your career journey!
Hosted live on virtual platform Airmeet, attendance is free. Each day is unique to a specific industry and features a diverse range of employers. Learn more and register.
Global Victoria Intellect Program
You can also gain valuable experience by taking part in the Global Victoria Intellect Program, a two-week virtual industry experience that connects student teams with Victorian exporters to complete a real world domestic and international market research project. The beauty of this program is that you can be from any La Trobe campus or studying offshore (or onshore) to participate (subject to places available). Work as part of a team with current postgraduate and undergraduate students from La Trobe and other Victorian universities where a number of projects are on offer. Book into an upcoming information session.
