Penny studied Health, Education and Arts and is currently writing a PhD in History at La Trobe University, Bendigo. In this video Penny talks about studying at La Trobe and her involvement in setting up the Alumni Chapter in Bendigo - recognised as the most successful alumni chapter at La Trobe.

Julie spent almost 10 years at La Trobe, 4 as an undergraduate and 5 more as a tutor/demonstrator in the department of Microbiology, graduating with a Master of Science. Dr Yip received a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and PhD in Maths & Information Sciences from La Trobe University. He is the foundation director of the Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention and an associate professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at the University of Hong Kong. He leads a multi-disciplinary research team to advocate a public health approach to reduce the number of suicides in Hong Kong, in the region and globally. Dr Yip talks about his experience of La Trobe and the support he received from his tutors.
