About the campus
The Mildura campus offers students the best of both worlds. A world class university, which is rated in the top 1.4% of universities worldwide, in their own home town.
With over 500 students and over 50 staff, La Trobe Mildura is closely entwined with the local community. The campus is in the heart of Mildura, and some of our facilities are available to the public.
We are integral to the local workforce, with 87% of our students staying and working locally. There are around 1600 La Trobe graduates working in the Mildura region.
Led by Head of Campus, Dr Deb Neal, the Mildura campus staff are dedicated to our students and many donate a portion of their salaries towards the Mildura Staff Giving scholarships. Our staff are engaged in innovative and varied research, much of which is directly related to the local region.
The campus has a long and proud history in Mildura and our story of how we came to have a university campus in the district is an interesting one. We are committed to the local community and are devoted to many partnerships with local industry that benefit our students and the wider community.
La Trobe Mildura is supported by a regional advisory board comprising of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Regional), Head of Campus and leading community members.
