About this event

In this introductory session you will learn about the comprehensive and connected data set covering publications, grants, patents, clinical trials, datasets, and policy documents available in Dimensions Analytics. You will learn how to navigate the platform, perform analyses, find opportunities and report on metrics.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Navigate the Dimensions Analytics Interface
  2. Use faceted filters to create a search query
  3. Create groups and favourites and set up alerts
  4. Set preferences, view researcher profiles, and connect an ORCID account
  5. Integrate Dimensions Analytics with Altmetric Explorer to gain an understanding of both the academic and societal impact of your research
