Non Traditional Research Outputs

A standardised University-wide framework to inform academic workload planning has been developed for use in 2016. The new framework will involve a review of all creative works and research reports for external bodies. The collection of these outputs via My Publications will commence on 19 October and will need to be completed by November 6 in order to be assessed and included for the AWPS.The types of outputs to be collected are:

  1. Original Creative Works
  2. Live Performance Works
  3. Recorded / Rendered Creative Works
  4. Curated or Produced Substantial Public Exhibitions and Events
  5. Research Reports for an External Body (new)

Creative Works and Research Reports are defined in line with the ARC guidelines.

Researchers will be responsible for adding their outputs, and support (including training, one to one assistance and help guides) will be available from the Library Research Team. Queries/problems can be directed to our email query service: Please note that this email service is dedicated to answering queries about the collection of outputs.

For specific queries contact Professor Sue Martin APVCR at For more information on the proposed AWPS Research framework, please visit the AWPS intranet page under 'Strategy and Management'.
