Click and Send requests are available for La Trobe University students and staff

How to request Click and Send

  1. Find the books/items you want to “Request” from Library Search.
  2. Select "Get It"
  3. Enter the address you want your items to be posted to first
  4. Select delivery location: Click and Send
  5. If your request is successful, you will see a highlighted message: "Request Placed".
    Note: If more than one person has requested a hold, you will be placed in a queue.
  6. You will receive an email when the item has been posted to you. 

Number of items

The Click and Send service is limited to five items at a time.

Loan time

  • Standard loan periods apply, please visit what can I borrow and for how long
  • All items will be automatically renewed if the due date is reached during lockdown. All items will be extended during this time, even If there are requests.
  • Library users are not required to return items whilst travel restrictions remain in place
  • Check My Account for due dates.

Requests

Click and Send requests are available for library users in all locations – these will be posted to you

Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan services

Document Delivery and Inter-Library Loan services are still operating for electronic and digitised items, however there may be delays in supply. Supply of physical items is not currently available.
