Public scholarship

stage-open-discussion

Our place in community is very important to us: and we have high expectations of what we should be contributing back through public scholarship.

We are continuously finding ways to share our academic knowledge and expertise with our broader communities and expect our academic staff to do the same.

These include the broader community at large, local areas in which our campus network operate, the higher education sector as well as the many disciplines in which we teach and research.

Public scholarship is an opportunity to celebrate the excellent academic work taking place at La Trobe through public lectures and events, media appearances and articles that translate complex research findings.

More details about our public scholarship activity can be found below, including upcoming events open to the public. We also have several resources available to staff interested in gaining traction in this space.
