Part of a Game Changer series, this webinar will focus on the journey of entrepreneurship, importance of 'having a go' and celebrating individuality in entrepreneurship.

Millie is the CEO and co-founder of Yesterday, with a business background that includes co-founding a performance marketing company and headhunting for some of Australia's fastest-growing start-ups. Having jumped into the deep end of entrepreneurship more than once, she brings hands-on experience and a keen understanding of the start-up landscape. Her expertise in recruitment, coupled with her strong sales and partnerships background, positions Yesterday to become a leader in AI-driven hiring solutions. Her focus now is leveraging her past experiences to drive innovation and growth at Yesterday.
Yesterday is a VC-backed HR tech company founded in Australia, dedicated to transforming the recruitment industry. By leveraging AI algorithms and data analytics, we reduce the time to hire new employees, initially targeting recruitment firms. Having successfully raised a pre-seed round, we are now in the product development phase, aligning our focus on innovation, compliance, and customer-centric solutions. Jason Fairclough

Studied Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at La Trobe!
Jason Fairclough is the founder of Kangaroo Medtek, an Australian sports and medical technology development company. Jason graduated from La Trobe University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Subsequently Jason went on to work in public hospitals, physio (sports) clinics and completed studies and research in biotechnology and information technology (UI, UX, Cybersecurity). A graduate of the Medical Devices Commercialisation Training Program at CicadaInnovations, Jason went on to win a six month incubator internship, and commercial development grant from IDE Group. Jason has presented at International Surgical and Physiotherapy Conferences and workshops in Australia, Argentina, China, the UK, Italy, Netherlands and Germany. Designs for five patented devices used for fracture reduction, dynamic stability and hand strength are credited to Jason. In his spare time Jason enjoys taichi, sports, languages (Chinese, Spanish), coding and hanging out in Makerspaces.
Kangaroo Medtek was established in 2019 and has the goal of creating simple, smart and safe medical and sports rehabilitation solutions to improve equity and outcomes for people across national borders. Innovations include use of smart sensors and real-time feedback. The company has registered for five patents, and copyright in devices and smart device apps including the Gx Gyroball and DIscs for sports rehab, the Butterfly Traction System for finger fracture reduction, Slotted Foam for hand rehabilitation and WriteNice App for kids. The company has an extensive network of product testers in the USA, Europe, the UK and Australia for development.
