Sport Occupations and Aspiration Raising camp (SOAR)

What is SOAR?

SOAR is a free three-day camp that introduces Year 9 and 10 Indigenous students to university and sports occupations. Our mentors will accompany your students as they learn what it takes to work in media and sport science with an elite sports club. They will take part in activities like traditional Indigenous games, design and learn about wearable technologies and how its applied in the 21st century, visit Eureka Skydeck, meet our academics, and learn about preparing for VCE and life after school.

Number one in sport

We offer more sport-related courses than any other university in Australia, our research is rated well above world standard, our partners are some of Australias most prominent sport organisations, and our elite athlete program is the most comprehensive in the country.
