Tomorrow Man - Connecting In Times of Change

As part of University Mental Health Day (Week) and in keeping with our theme Community and Connection, Tomorrow Man are facilitating a fun, engaging, interactive and meaningful workshop on the importance of connection for mental wellbeing and how to achieve this even in isolation. It will support and strengthen resilience, self-confidence and connectedness in these uncertain times.

Being Iso Active - Clubs Challenge Walk off!

Bendigo Students Association

To get everyone moving we are challenging our clubs to a steps challenge! Using the Move Spring app, clubs can compete for bragging rights, and some pretty sweet prizes all while getting reconnected as a team! Encourage each other with in-group messaging to stay on track to be the best walkers around. Over 3 weeks we will be tracking your steps and giving you tips on staying active in iso.

Help Me Sleep!

Student Wellbeing, Friday 8th May, 4pm - 5pm

Session Link

One of the most common things we hear is students being unable to sleep.  Be it minds racing a hundred miles an hour or the call of Netflix and YouTube being louder than tired bones.  Bringing ourselves back to the body is a great way to support us to complete the day and drift off into sleep.  Come along and be part of this live whole-body-mindedness session and use the recording to support you in those nightly hours to achieve a good nights sleep.


Relaxation & Meditation Sessions

Beginning this Thursday, 23 April, we'll host a weekly online meditation and relaxation session via Zoom. Each sessions will go for 45 minutes, but will be separated into two parts for those who only have a few minutes to spare.

The first 10-15 minutes will be a super simple but effective breathing technique which can be used anytime and anywhere. Those who can stay for the full session with then take part in a 20 to 30-minute whole-body-mindedness exercise.

Stress Less Week

La Trobe Student Union

Stress Less Week is one of our favourite weeks of the year, and no way were we gonna let a little thing such as not being on campus and not being able to see you in person stop us from running a week of activities to support your wellbeing and welfare.
This week is all about you and your wellbeing. We've got resources, performances and activities to help you relax and even (gasp) get you away from your screens for a while.

Tuesday 5th May - 2pm -  Acoustic Afternoons, Stress Less Week Special

Every Tuesday at 2pm, take a break and relax with the chill vibes and beautiful #quarantunes brought to you by beautiful live-streamed performances.

Wednesday 6th May, 2.30pm - Financial Guidance During COVID-19

LTSU's Financial Counselor Robyn will discuss financial aid available to students, provide information on the free financial counselling service on offer, and recommend links to resources to guide you during this difficult time.
Ronbyn will be available to answer your questions in the following Q&A.

Thursday 7th May, 7pm - LTSU Nights In: Trivia Night, Stress Less Week Special

Join our favourite trivia host Disco Dave, as streams his fun vibes, dog banter and tantalising questions straight from his home to yours. We're gonna be doing this via Zoom, so you can share the fun with your friends and play in teams.

Thursday 7th May, 2pm - Student Theatre & Film Watch Party, Stress Less Week Special

Join us every Thursday afternoon (4-6pm) for a virtual time at the theatre! We'll be watching a Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (Danny Boyle production from National Theatre Live) #togetherathome

Friday 8th May, 7pm - LTSU Nights In: Film Fridays with LTU Cinema Club, Stress Less Week Special

Join LTSU and LTU Cinema Club every Friday for a virtual night at the movies. You'll need the Netflix Party Extension on Chrome (instructions in the event) if you'd like to join in the chat!
