Join us on Friday 15 November to learn how to become a qualified Technology and Vocational Education teacher by studying at La Trobe University.

This free event will include talks, refreshments, time for questions with Technologies and VET teaching staff at La Trobe University.

The Bachelor of Technology Education is a specialist qualification designed to prepare experienced tradespeople to teach Technology and Vocational Education and Training (VET) subjects in secondary schools. During the session you’ll learn about this course and it’s many unique features including:

  • Two years’ advanced standing in recognition of trade & industry experience
  • Choice of full or part-time studies
  • Mid-year entry
  • Weekend classes (so you can keep your job while studying)
  • Blended learning (part online and part face-to-face)
  • Endorsement by AEU to meet the 2018 TAFE Teacher Agreement (MEA)
  • Application process and entry requirements
