Join us and hear from La Trobe academic staff, future student advisors, industry professionals and current students who have successfully transitioned from TAFE to study at La Trobe University. Whether you’re wanting to further your studies straight from TAFE, or you’ve previously completed your TAFE qualification and are wanting to upskill in your industry, this event will give you all the information you need to take the next steps.

In the first session, you will learn about pathways and how your TAFE qualification can meet the entry requirements for a number of La Trobe courses. We will discuss credit for your TAFE study, support services, how to apply for a La Trobe course and you will also hear from a La Trobe careers advisor on why now is the perfect time to upskill and further your studies at university.

If you are considering furthering your studies in nursing, business/accounting, social work and early childhood education, you will then be able to register for the next session tailored specifically to each of these courses. The course structure, placements and work integrated learning opportunities will be discussed in detail by our leading teaching staff.

You will also have the opportunity throughout the event to submit questions which our future student advisors and teaching staff will be answering live.

This event is not to be missed and will ensure that you have all the information required to make the transition from TAFE to La Trobe as smooth as possible!
