The Australian Society of Plant Scientists conference, ASPS 2019, and Grains Satellite meeting will be held in AgriBio, La Trobe University between the 26 - 29 November 2019. Bringing together a multidisciplinary community of plant scientists, agronomists, industry and government representatives this is an event not to be missed!
Online registration and abstract submissions are now open.
Themes covered by the ASPS 2019 conference include Reproductive and Seed Biology, Medicinal Agriculture, Plant Nutrition, Biotic Interactions, Abiotic Stress Tolerance and specialist sessions on emerging and transformational technologies. A key feature is a Grains Satellite meeting as part of ASPS 2019 to build stronger relationships with agronomists and industry.
We are proud to be hosting the conference in the world-class Centre for AgriBioScience (AgriBio), in partnership between La Trobe University and the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR).
AgriBio’s reputation as a hub of scientific excellence in plant agricultural research and translation has recently been strengthened by La Trobe University’s establishment of the La Trobe Institute for Agriculture and Food (LIAF) and the announcement of the ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Medicinal Agriculture.
We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event!
