Family therapy focuses on the important role of the family and the power of relationships to foster social, emotional and mental wellbeing.
The Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy is ideal for those who would like to enhance their skills in responding professionally to families - in education, nursing, welfare, family support, child protection, disability, drugs and alcohol, residential care, and mental health contexts. You'll learn to effectively integrate theory with practice relevant to your unique work context.
The Master of Clinical Family Therapy is ideal for psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, mental health clinicians, youth workers, drug and alcohol counsellors, psychiatric nurses, medical practitioners or workers from allied professions who are suitably qualified and want to focus strictly on family therapy counselling.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree is an internationally recognised advanced research qualification. Each PhD candidate undertakes a substantial piece of independent and sustained research on an original topic under academic supervision.
This course is delivered in partnership with The Bouverie Centre.
