Many educators and students have begun to show interest in adopting participatory design frameworks that help them interact and collaborate with students. In this webinar, the guest speaker will address this popular area of interest by addressing the following questions:

  • What is participatory design? What's the difference between terms like co-design, co-creation, and students as partners? How do I know which one to use?
  • What are the contextual factors and antecedents of co-creation that need to be considered?
  • What are the barriers and challenges that are associated with co-creation? How can I mitigate them?
  • What are the benefits that may arise if I implement co-creation? What's in it for me? What's in it for students?
  • Why should I learn or care about co-creation? Is co-creation the new 'student engagement'?
