With the rapid advancement of e-commerce in China, technological innovation in mobile payment has led to the explosive growth of m-commerce. This seminar reports on a study exploring why China has adopted mobile payment much more widely and faster than western countries. The research adopts case studies and interviews in greater China to analyse the major mobile payment systems and their impacts.
