About this Event

'Throughout my career I've been interested in innovative assessments, focusing on\ formative assessment. A valuable tool for this is "algorithmic questions", which means the numbers change every time the students does the question. You can, therefore, give students multiple attempts - great for formative assessment - without them figuring out the answer by the process of elimination or sharing the answers amongst themselves. Algorithmic questions can be set up within Moodle. I have also developed software to generate multiple different versions of in-class quizzes, based on similar concepts which I will also share with you. '
