La Trobe University is the proud higher education partner of the Australian Print Triennial. Please see below the Saturday activities of the Triennial.

  • 9.00am - Opening Keynote – The Tenth Mildura Art Vault Address: How do we make the Arts relevant today (Robyn Archer)
  • 9.30am -  Keynote Address: Innovations and challenges facing print publishers and printers in the current environment (Ruth Lingen)
  • 10.10am – Morning Tea
  • 10.35am – Brief talks followed by Q & A, The Marketing, Absorption and Branding of Prints (Stuart Purves, Anne Virgo and Roger Butler)
  • 11.25am Four Short Presentations: The processes (psychological and physical) I go through in order to make my prints (Jazmina Cininas, Graeme Drendel, Kyoko Imazu, Ron McBurnie)
  • 12.25pm - Lunch
  • 1.15pm - Two Short Keynote Addresses: Collaborations – (Rosalind Atkins, eX de Medici, Gali Weis)
  • 2.00pm -  Three short presentations: The importance of subject in prints (ex de Medici, Christina Cordero, Geoffrey Ricardo, Wendy Murray)
  • 3.00pm  – Afternoon tea
  • 3.30pm – Debate: Master Printmakers – a necessary evil (Moderator: Sasha Grishin, Panelists: John Pratt, Jasmine Cininas, Ruth Lingen, Ingeborg Hansen, Jock Clutterbuck, Marguerite Brown)
  • 4.15pm – Andrew Stephens interviews (GW Bot and Kasia Fabijanska)
  • 5.00pm – Remembering Tate Adams (Frances Thomson, Ron McBurnie, Jock Clutterbuck)

Followed by a 7.00pm dinner at Ampelon Gardens with music by Nicky Crayson.
