-------------

Dr Anju Goel, Research Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), India

A researcher interested in environmental Research, social science, statistical methods, and data-driven policymaking. Skilled in the design and implementation of multi-scale projects from initial conception to delivery. Currently working at Centre for Environmental Studies, TERI on developing air quality management plan backed by scientific studies, development of monitoring reporting and verification frameworks for AQMP, sensitizing different stakeholders about air pollution and assessing co-benefits of climate policies in terms of reducing air pollution.

Professor Mukesh Sharma, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur

At IIT Kanpur Professor Sharma works on: Air Quality Modelling and Management, Characterization of PM2.5; Formation of Secondary Particles, Source Apportion Study; Exposure Assessment; Human and Ecological Risk Assessment, Environmental Fate Processes and Modelling, Air Quality Index; Emission Monitoring, GHG Emissions Assessment and Mitigation.

Prior to IIT Kanpur he worked for the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi on: Development of Source Emission/Discharge Standards, Environmental Policies, Air Dispersion Modelling

-------------

Professor Bin Jalaludin, Chief Investigator – Centre for Air pollution, energy and health Research, The University of New South Wales

Professor Jalaludin is an environmental epidemiologist with extensive experience in air pollution epidemiology.

He investigated the effects of the 1994 bushfires on emergency department visits for asthma and on children’s lung function and respiratory symptoms. He has also investigated the acute effects of bushfires on hospitalisations and deaths.

As well as the effects of bushfires, Professor Jalaludin has extensive experience in designing and conducting studies investigating the effects of urban air pollution on human health.
