Last year at our annual Careers Conference our presenters focused on the latest research into student success and behaviour during lockdown. This year will be no exception as we welcome high-calibre speakers, including KPMG’s National Lead for Higher Education, Michelle King, who will share findings from her research on “Student experience in the age of the customer”.
Michelle has experience across a broad range of higher education projects, with particular emphasis on student experience and operational excellence and transformation. She will address the five D’s outlined in her report (Diverse, Digital, Discerning, Demanding, and Debt-averse).
You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Dewar AO who will share the latest La Trobe news and initiatives, our partners from Cisco and the Carlton Football Club, as well as our esteemed La Trobe University Colleagues. Hosted by our own, Dr. Wade Kelly is an educational professional and academic with eLearning specialisation and instructional educational designer who is passionate about knowledge dissemination to all audiences and excited about the differences institutions can make in communities and society.
You will have the opportunity to put questions to the speakers during a live Q&A. We look forward to hearing your reflections on what has become important for students given the challenges they faced in 2020.
