You are invited to attend a Professional Development day at our Bendigo Campus on Thursday 2 August. We are offering you the opportunity to explore the campus and gain insights into three of our courses, followed by a Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) Briefing.
On the day, our new Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Medical) degree that will be offered at both the Bendigo and Albury/Wodonga campuses in 2019 will be discussed in further detail. You’ll hear more details on how it will act as a guaranteed pathway into a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (Rural) MD program at Shepparton, taught by the University of Melbourne. Learn how this exciting new partnership will combat the rural doctor shortage by enrolling students from rural backgrounds and training them for a medical career in regional Australia.
Our academic experts will then present to you on La Trobe’s Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology degrees. You will delve into the exciting careers on offer for graduates and pathways into other allied health programs. With a focus on community health, graduates from these degrees will be ready to develop and monitor training programs for clients, including corporate employees and amateur sportspeople, along with soldiers and elite athletes.
You will also hear about our Civil and Industrial Engineering degrees, what the future holds for the Engineering profession and how multidisciplinary engineers are creating solutions for tomorrow and beyond. Following this, you will learn about how the new Bendigo Tech School will enhance the programs that schools provide and help give students the skills they need for the jobs of the future.
This is a free and fully catered event.
