Professor John Dewar, President and Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University, invites you to join him at this year's alumni event in Beijing.

We would be so pleased if you could join us for some fun and to celebrate our wide alumni community in China!

At this year’s special event we will be offering a short panel discussion on the topic of Women In Leadership.

The panel will be chaired by Professor Amalia Di Iorio, La Trobe University’s Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Partnerships) and will include prominent alumni and industry leaders from various industries in Beijing.

You will hear from some of our most successful and pioneering female graduates, La Trobe University staff and industry leaders as they share their insights and experiences.


About our panel:

Panel Moderator:

Professor Amalia Di Iorio

Professor Amalia Di Iorio is Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Partnerships) at La Trobe University and has an active international research profile and numerous highly regarded publications. She has a particular interest in women’s self‑efficacy and the implications this has on their careers and life choices.

Panellists:

Ms Katharine Song, Senior Consultant, Risk Advisory, Deloitte China

Ms Olivia Jingshu Ji, Co-Founder and COO, EventBank

As Co-Founder and COO of EventBank, Olivia maintains extensive experience in the marketing and internet industries. She has developed several technology companies from the ground up and has served as a senior business leader in multinational enterprises. Olivia is Founding Director of Beijing Hefeng Art Charity Foundation and President of Women in Leadership China.


There will also be time for questions, ensuring opportunities for professional development and networking over delicious food and drinks.
