Arthropodium strictum is a lily commonly known as the Chocolate Lily. Chocolate lilies are a tussocky herb that flower from October to December. The mauve flowers are chocolate (vanilla) scented and appear on a branched stem up to 1 m in length. This species has recently been put in a new family, Asparagaceae. Lily pollen is often beautifully sculptured.

Thysanotus patersonii is a lily commonly known as the Twining Fringe Lily. This delicate little twining species with long slender stems and finely frilled petals flowers from September to November. Its tubers were cooked and eaten by aboriginals. The pollen is beautifully sculptured as is typical of most lily pollen.
