Educational Technologies Teaching Support

The College Educational Technologies Teaching Support Teams (also known as EdTech Teaching Support) provide staff with support resources, training/professional development and troubleshooting support for the following educational learning technologies.

  • Moodle (LMS),
  • Turnitin,
  • Echo360,
  • PebblePad,
  • Blackboard Collaborate,
  • Manage My Subjects, and
  • Zoom*

*Technical and meeting room queries regarding Zoom should be directed to ICT via Ask ICT

Contact the College Educational Technologies Teaching Support teams via Ask EdTech or on 03 9479 1500 (9am – 5pm, Monday - Friday).

For non-University staff who deliver into La Trobe University courses submit your request for educational technology support via this webform or call 03 9479 1500 (9am – 5pm, Monday - Friday).

Bookings for custom group workshops and one-to-one consultations can be requested via Ask EdTech.

Student Support

Student support in the use of the LMS and other La Trobe supported educational technologies can be found at the Teaching Technologies Student Information website. This website contains Student Guides and links for help with:

  • Logging in
  • Browsers and settings
  • Accessing the Internet
  • Getting plugins

If students need further assistance they can contact Student IT Support (SITS) or ASK La Trobe for answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Educational Design Support

The LTLT Educational Design team works with you to enhance the student experience of learning and teaching. Through practical design sessions, explore what the range of teaching technologies offer to enhance the student learning experience. The range of services is available at Educational Design Support.
