Visual Arts will equip you to become a practising artist, offering intensive training, guidance and support in the areas of painting, drawing, sculpture, print-making, video-making and digital imaging. Graduates have progressed to become directors of major galleries, art curators, and practising artists.
You may also have the opportunity to work as an art administrator; curator and director in public, commercial and corporate collections and galleries; art conservator; valuer or dealer; community arts officer; colour and interior design consultant; art therapist; art critic or historian; photojournalist; professional photographer; illustrator; secondary art teacher; teacher in continuing education or with private providers; or as a tertiary art lecturer with relevant further study.
