Course content

Topics include:

  • Managing threats, vulnerabilities and developing risk scenarios
  • Risk identification, analysis and evaluation
  • Risk response, reporting and communication - the processes of compiling and reporting the status of risk controls and metrics analysis.
  • Operational technology (OT) cybersecurity - the difference between IT and OT systems and convergence using the standard IEC 62443 and GHD's hybrid framework.
  • Control validation, assurance and sustainability
  • Cyber risk management in the critical infrastructure industry.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a digital credential and earn 10 credit points that can be accumulated with its partner course, Cyber Risk Management Fundamentals, to stack into 'Cyber Risk Management and Compliance (CSE5CRM)', a subject within the Master of Cybersecurity.

Access to courses is generally available two weeks in advance of the scheduled course start date, or as advised in the registration confirmation email.  Course materials are made available via our Learning Management System (LMS) for which you will be provided with your username and initial password.
