This CPD short course will provide nurses with current information on advanced respiratory care. It will include a revision of infection control principles and use of Personal Protective Equipment. The focus will be on the development of knowledge and skills related to respiratory nursing care with modules on health respiratory system physiology and assessment, airway management, oxygenation, arterial blood gas analysis and interpretation and non-invasive ventilation and ventilation.
