Primary education

Why study primary education?

La Trobe’s new primary education degrees have been created to meet new national standards for teacher education. We offer the opportunity for specialisation within our primary education degrees, which allows for greater career options. With a common foundation year across all our undergraduate education degrees, you have time to develop your literacy and numeracy skills and the flexibility to move between courses if you want to change your teaching focus.
