Course information

Local students

There are many subjects to choose from, across all Schools in the College.

You can look up subjects via discipline in our subject database – see 'prerequisites' to determine your eligibility for the subjects that interest you. If you haven't studied at university before, we recommend starting with first-year subjects.

How to apply

Apply direct to the College using the single subject studies application form [PDF 413KB].

We usually accept applications until late February for commencement in Semester 1 (March) and mid to late July for commencement in Semester 2 (late July).

Important things to note
  • Not all subjects are offered each year, and changes may occur to subjects, fees, assessment and admission requirements. The University may also set limits on the number of students in a subject.
  • Enrolment is conditional on the recommendation of the relevant Head of School (or nominee) and College Office approval. Approvals are not automatic and each College has the right to refuse admission to any applicant.

Fees

There's a specified fee for each subject. To find out the cost of the subjects that interest you, look up subject code in our fee calculator, or contact the College. You may also need to buy textbooks/reading materials.
