Through a combination of practical and evidence-based learning, you'll gain the confidence and knowledge to help shape the lives of our next generation.<\/p>
You'll develop up to two curriculum specialisations that you'll take straight into the classroom when you graduate. Choose from science, languages, arts, psychology, physical education and many more. Or delve deeper in your area of interest with a specialisation in drama, mathematics, physical education, business management, commerce and business, science and visual arts.<\/p>
Learn the most up-to-date skills for the modern classroom. Understand the needs of diverse learners and gain the skills and experience to succeed in any classroom. You'll prepare for classroom teaching with extensive in-school experience and guidance from our highly experienced and dedicated teaching academics. You'll learn how to manage classrooms, design class plans, guide students, and create a safe and engaging learning space for your students.<\/p>
We focus on practise-based learning and our students learn about creating relationships from day one. You'll be embedded in your community from your first semester and will be mentored by community leaders, allowing you to develop meaningful relationships with students, parents and the wider school community. You'll also be paired with a university-based mentor and a school-based mentor to ensure you have the support during your studies.<\/p>
