Master of International Relations (Research Studies)
This one-semester extension to the standard Masters of International Relations allows you to undertake a sustained research study in an area of interest. You will undertake a highly specialised supervised research thesis of 18,000 words, which makes you eligible for entry into Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) - Masters by Research and PhD. After gaining approval from the Course Coordinator and identifying a potential supervisor, you will transfer the subject credits from the standard Masters into the Masters (Research).
Academic entry requirement
Students who wish to take the Masters of International Relations (Research Studies) must complete the requirements for the Master of International Relations excel in their studies and gain approval from the Course Coordinator, Dr Ben Habib (firstname.lastname@example.org).
English language requirement
IELTS (Academic): minimum score of 6.5 with no individual band score less than 6.0.
