The Bachelor of Physical, Health and Outdoor Education prepares you to enter the education / training profession. It covers a range of topics including environmental and sustainability education, safety and risk management, leadership, exercise physiology, sports biomechanics, movement studies and skill analysis. The course serves as a pathway into a Master's Degree for those graduates wishing to qualify as teachers.

Entry requirements

Subject prerequisites

VCE English Units 3 and 4 study score of at least 30, or at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL). VCE Units 1 and 2: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods or Units 3 and 4: any Mathematics.

English language requirement

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Academic module with an average band score of 7.0 across all four skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing - where there is no score below 6.5 in any of the four skills areas.
