This course provides a generalist education in information technology (IT), and the opportunity to explore focus areas in information systems, software development, computer networks, and web development. The structure of this course enables you to combine online studies with early entry to the workforce and continuing online study. The course is applied in its focus and its options include vendor certifications that are relevant to IT industry employment.

Graduates will fit roles that bridge the gap between technical and management personnel. Career opportunities include systems analyst, analyst programmer, database manager, software engineer, and strategist and systems marketer. If you exit at diploma level, you will have entry-level skills to commence work in the IT industry at help-desk and web support. If you exit at associate degree level, you will have additional industry certified skills. Integration of vendor certification provides you with required industry skills to support underpinning technical knowledge.
