As the course is open to students from a range of backgrounds, you'll be studying in a multidisciplinary environment, where you'll be exposed to a broad exchange of ideas.

In your first year you'll learn foundational knowledge from the fields of economics, finance, accounting, management theory and marketing principles over eight core subjects. In your second year, you'll develop knowledge in specialised areas of management, and pursue your interests and career aspirations through a range of electives.

Benefit from our strong professional associations with local and international organisations. Our teachers are seasoned professionals with years of industry experience. You'll also gain practical insights from business leaders through regular guest lectures.

The qualification awarded on graduation is recognised in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) as Level 9.

“My course is about creating business opportunities.”

story

Prem Gaire believes that people can best serve society through innovative business. It was this belief – along with the practical industry relevance of the course – that attracted him to the Master of Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation).

An international student from Nepal, Prem is flourishing at La Trobe, achieving A grades in all four subjects in his first semester. He is loving the challenges that each new assignment presents.

‘My course is about creating business opportunities either within an established business or by creating a new business altogether. My current qualification and experience will help me shape my future.’
