This course aims to provide a general professional qualification in information technology (IT) to graduates with a grounding in the discipline who seek to broaden or deepen their knowledge of using computers. Core subjects provide a foundation in information systems, software development and computer networking.

Entry requirements

Prerequisites

Australian Bachelor's degree in a discipline other than computer science, or approved international equivalent. You may also be considered if you have other tertiary qualifications, provided that you have relevant work experience.
NB: Meeting minimum prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of a place. Entry into all La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there may be limited places available.
