Professional Background/experience

Hi, my name is Joel. Since I started my Law/Arts degree at La Trobe in 2019 I have dedicated myself to improving this university and student experience. I have had great opportunities to develop my skills as the President of the La Trobe Student Union and led the revitalisation of the Union. In my time I ran many successful campaigns that delivered real results for students and demonstrated the strength of our student representatives. While President of the LTSU we re-established a free, student-led advocacy service that helped hundreds of students in 2022 who were struggling with issues at La Trobe.
