Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus

Our department is located at our Melbourne Campus in a purpose-built building offering advanced facilities, including 350 workstations, as well as dedicated Cisco networking and postgraduate Windows/UNIX labs. All of our systems are accessible 24 hours a day in a secure environment and equipped with the latest technology and software designed to meet all student needs while completing their course.

Maritime Lab

Pivot Maritime International and La Trobe University have joined forces to create a 360-degree maritime simulator using virtual environments. Our academics, students, and other industry bodies are investigating and testing solutions to problems in the maritime industry, training and simulation, along with:

  • simulation research and collaboration
  • navigation and safety and optimisation
  • student training.

The lab is available for visit by prior arrangement.

Bendigo Campus

We offer six secure computer laboratories including two 24-hour labs and a dedicated UNIX lab. You'll also gain hands-on enterprise networking experience in our state-of-the-art Cisco laboratory which is equipped with PCs running UNIX and modern Cisco switches and routers.

Our purpose-built Engineering and Technology building at our Bendigo Campus offers courses in a state-of-the-art facility. The building features the latest technology, advanced facilities along with new teaching spaces.
