Income assessed fee assistance is available to all eligible families. You will need to visit Centrelink before your child/children commence at the Centre. Centrelink forms are available at the Centre.
The University provides the Children's Centre with an allocation from the Student Services Administrative Fee (SSAF) which is used to reduce the cost of care in the Sessional Care service for students.
"A student user is defined as a person who is currently enrolled at La Trobe University and is actively meeting the requirements of that enrolment."
ALL ENROLMENTS WILL BE CHECKED BY THE CENTRE AS 'CURRENT AND ACTIVE'.
Salary sacrificing for child care is available to all La Trobe staff.
Payment of fees via fortnightly salary deductions is also available. Authorisation to deduct forms can be obtained from the Centre.

Australian residents can apply to the Family Assistance Office to have these fees reduced via Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR); some families may also be eligible for the JET scheme. The amount your fees will be reduced will depend upon your family's taxable income.
Note: The centre cannot determine your eligibility for Child Care Benefit, Child Care Rebate or the JET scheme.
