- Master of Management (Human Resource Management)
- Master of Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation)
- Master of Management (Sport Development and Management)
These Master's programs are taught at the University's brand new City Campus at 360 Collins St. The programs are designed to be completed in 18 months, if studied full-time. However, the convenient location of the new campus will allow students to study part-time, whilst working in the central business district.
Occupying a level of 360 Collins, the campus has been designed around the latest innovations in educational design and teaching and learning technology and features a new and fully customised fit-out.
Entry without a business degree
The Master of Management suite is also designed for students without previous degrees in business. This will be an attractive option for Arts and Science graduates wanting to add high-level business expertise to their resumes. These students will be brought up-to-date through a foundation semester that covers the basics of contemporary business practice. This includes introductions to management, marketing, accounting, economics and statistics. Students without a business background will typically finish the program in two years of full-time studies.
La Trobe University offers one of Australia's best study abroad and exchange programs, with 140 partner universities in 35+ countries. Master's students will be eligible for a travel grant of up to $7,000, if they choose to study a semester at a partner university. Students who want to add an international experience to their degree, but cannot commit to spending six months overseas, can choose to go on one of the regular international study tours to places like Vietnam, France or China. All students that are accepted into an international experience will receive a travel grant from the University.
