Aims and objectives

The Bendigo Tertiary Education Anniversary Foundation was established following celebrations of the 125th Anniversary of tertiary education in Bendigo, April 1998.

The foundation which was launched at the Anniversary celebrations by the late Mr Roger Jalland, the then oldest known former student and staff member of the Bendigo School of Mines and Industries and the Settlor for the foundation, is seen to be an appropriate recognition of the past and a focus on the future.

One of the key aims of the 125th Anniversary celebrations was not only to celebrate the past but also to look to the future.

With an eye to the future
