We have been an accredited Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace since 2010 and continues to provide a breastfeeding friendly environment, with breastfeeding or parenting rooms to support mothers.
Many women return to full-time or part-time work or study after having children. Many of these children continue to be breastfed while their mothers work or study. La Trobe supports and values the importance of having the time and space to provide food for their babies, whether by expressing milk or breastfeeding.
The Babies Room/Reset Room is located on Level 1, John Osborne Building 4, in room 4224. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, table and chair or bed to meet the needs of student and staff mothers continuing their work or study while breastfeeding at the Albury-Wodonga campus.
