Transcript: Introduction to Library Search on the La Trobe University Library Website Your key to succeeding in assignments starts with Library Search. This online search tool helps you find a wide range of print and online resources held by the library including: Ebooks and print books, journals, articles, streamed videos and lots more. You can use Library search to filter resources by location, by date or by peer reviewed. Library search is a great place to start your search for academic resources but it does not search everything held by the library. You can unlock other resources for academic success using the library databases. Combining library search with the library databases is a great way to source the scholarly content needed to succeed in your next assignment. By logging into My Account, you can: -request an item already out on loan or at another campus -view and renew loans -save your searches. If you’re new to uni life or just a little unsure about the search process, you can always get help in person or online at Ask La Trobe.
